About Marta Chausée

Author, poet, playwright and artist Marta Chausée is a Southern California native from a cross-cultural background who enjoys killing people in her murder mysteries, and morphing the vicissitudes of life into her multiple creative expressions.

She possesses an adventuresome spirit and once slept in the luggage rack of a train compartment from Gibraltar to Madrid.  Today, she maintains her equilibrium with überlong bike rides, longer walks and marathon dance sessions.

Marta has won writing awards and been published in Carnival LIterary Magazine, Left Coast Literary Review, MoSAiC, Rind Literary Magazine, various newsletters and The Lowry News of Denver, Colorado.  Murder's Last Resort, her first full-length murder mystery, was a winner in the 2011 Dark Oak Murder Mystery Contest and is now available on Amazon.com.

She leads a vagrant, gypsy life on the westside of Los Angeles with her flying luck dragon, Falcor, by her side.  When she's not writing, she's jacking lemons and pomegranates on her bike rides, painting and mosaiquing, or dreaming up new hijinks and shenanigans.
